Download This MP3 File!I just composed this sonata today. I just felt like I wanted to do something creative. I hadn't done this for almost 2 years, so I had to relearn the composing software and stumble around until I figured it out again. It wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but its really grown on me. I was getting tears in my eyes when I was completing it because it was touching me in a sensitive place. I'm a very creative person, but sometimes I just hate how frustrating it is to put my soul into something and have it go unnoticed, ignored, neglected, and misunderstood. It's pain that many real creative people feel because we live in a world that basically doesn't care about anything creative unless it can easily make them money or get them laid. I feel like a wonderful organic robot in a world that doesn't care. Composing and playing music brings these feelings to the surface and often I avoid doing much with music because it hurts so much and I just can't justify feeling like crap all the time to do something that seems to be universally unwanted. Anyway, here's a composition that probably only a few people will ever hear.
