Download This MP3 File! This song was inspired by how I felt on a solo bicycle ride from Omaha to about 50 miles east of Kansas City and back carrying all my gear and camping along the way. I became very sore and lonely and the thumping bass line ran through my head as a pedaled and dissociated. The way back was cold and rainy and I remember sitting in the dark at night feeling cold and wet in the middle of nowhere after eating cold cereal (because I couldn't get a campfire started to cook the food) and thought about all the miles I needed to go as I heard train sounding its horn in the distance. This song seems to capture the dissociative rhythm, the train sounds, and the physical and mental pain that I felt as I pressed on and in a figurative way it generally depicts the difficult and lonely journeys in life that must be endured.
